New Tajikistan Tour

Day 1 Description

Your Discovery Tour of Tajikistan begins with someone picking you up from the Dushanbe International Airport (DYU) and driving you a short distance, about 8 km, to the Dushanbe Serena Hotel.  At the hotel you will have the opportunity of having a late breakfast/lunch.  Your tour guide will then give your Discovery Tour group a short orientation briefing by going over some of the history of Dushanbe and Tajikistan.  Our first destination will be Ismaili Center.  You will have a tour of the centre and presentation of AKDN activities in Tajikistan.

In the evening those wishing to go to Jamatkhana will have the opportunity to do so.

Once back at the hotel, we will have dinner and make it an early night in preparation of the early drive to Khorog the following day.
